As of today, YouHodler supports Cardano (ADA) at YouHodler.com and in the YouHodler Android and iOS apps. YouHodler clients can now buy, sell, convert, store, earn interest on and multiply ADA via YouHodler’s various tools. ADA deposits and withdrawals are also available via the BEP-20 blockchain only with more options to come later. ADA is available in all YouHodler-supported regions.
Cardano (ADA) is a blockchain-based platform built on the proof-of-stake protocol called Ouroboros. The main benefit of Ouroboros compared to proof-of-work protocols is that transactions are validated without the high energy costs.
Cardano is also unique in that it uses the Haskell programming language for development which Cardano says allows them to “pursue evidence-based development for unparalleled security and stability.” Facilitating the blockchain is the native token ADA, named after the famous 19th-century mathematician, Ada Lovelace.
